More Trains

I'm not sure what it is, but I've gone to the union station more in the last couple months than a train conductor does in a lifetime. Apparently kids love big chunks of metal that aren't going anywhere! This time we took the lovely and talented Mirabel with her cousins. It was a blast, but then again, nearly everything we do with her is (not poopy diapers though, she potent!).

Cousins!

Super Freakin Awesome Fantastic!

James and Jill are some of the coolest people I've ever met. In fact, every time I talk to them they get a little cooler! Their wedding was a blast and we took so many fun pictures! I hope you love them as much as I do!!!

The DJ's were partying down with their uhhhh... apple beer?

James with the ladies, always gettin his mack on. It was ok though, because this slightly odd couple had their reception before their wedding, so he wasn't married yet.

And now getting his mack on with the guys at the temple. He was married at this point, so I'm not sure if that's kosher or not.

James and Jill getting their dance on!

Why do I love Jill? Oh yeah, that's why!

Love this shot!!!

Kurtis climbed up on the roof to get these AWESOME cake shots.

What can I say, crazy people have crazy friends.

A strangely normal moment for the happy couple.

They ran so fast towards each other that my camera was doing crazy things?!?

Rebels!

Ivan and Jenifer

Ahhh, I know I haven't posted anything forever! It's such a busy time for photographers and I think we're all whining right now about how long we go in between blog posts, but it really is hard. I went to school last night for the very last time (for now at least) and am now officially a masters level teacher. I'm so excited to quit doing homework and really focus on photography for a little while. Sooooo, here's Ivan and Jenifer's gorgeous wedding! We shot this just over two weeks ago and it was a blast. Ivan was seriously dancing the entire time. Every time I turned around he's doing some little move. So we have, of course, a million awesome dancing pictures. Jen on the other hand looked absolutely fantastic (Ivan looked pretty decent himself, but hey...)! We really had a blast at this wedding!

The very first shot I took all day. I love it!

Jen's dress hanging next to her daughter's in the dressing room.
Getting ready!

One of Ivan's signature moves.

These two nephews were adorable and I probably took way more pictures of them than I should have. They got even with me a time or two, putting me on the other end of the camera lens.
Jen Dancing with her ever beautiful and talented daughter Sincere.
The rings.

I love this shot from their sign-in book.

It's been a little while since we've seen a car decorated. People don't seem to do this as often anymore, but I think it's tons of fun and these guys did a great job.

Jen and Judd

It's been a little while since I've done a traditional ceremony, so I was way excited for Jen and Judd. I knew that it was going to be a blast with a few surprises! Judd's friend was a surprise officiator and the ringbearers wore "ring security" shirts. It was awesome!

The Hottest Day of the Year

It was hot, but it was beautiful out! I'm missing the sunshine today for sure. Matt and Amy are freakin hoots. I think I took twenty pictures before Amy quit pulling faces.
Hello Sunshine!

I LOVE this shot. I told Amber that and all she said was, "the people are really little."

It's so much fun when people love each other so much!

Did I mention it was really sunny out? We finally found a spot of shade for a minute!

Another shot that I love!

Out on the island!

This was our first time out shooting on Antelope Island. I'm not sure why we waited so long, it was awesome out there. Well, awesome except for the fact that it was somewhere very near freezing out there and poor Jamie was wearing a cute little sun dress! Kurtis and I felt really bad for her as we strutted around in our hoodies, beanies, and gloves. She was a real trooper (so was Kelly).
