Wow! Hollee's Bridals

I've been wanting to take a bride to the junkyard for quite a while. Something about the contrast between beauty and junk has drawn me to the idea, but I haven't wanted to pressure any brides into doing something like that. So...when Hollee suggested this exact idea to me, I was on it like blue bonnet! The pictures are awesome. Hollee is awesome. And yes, I am being humble.

Chad's Seniors

Now, this is one sexy dude. I only say that because he's my brother and looks exactly like me. Well, OK, he looks nothing like me, but he's still my brother. I swear!
I guess someone has to go to Roy High

But at least he plays soccer!

Wardrobe Change:

Julie's Bridals

I already knew that Julie was awesome, but when I saw this first picture hanging on the wall I began to wonder if she might just be the awesomest! In fact, I'm not even sure why she hired me when she already had such a beautiful work from an awesomely talented artist. Anyway, with the pressure on I did my best!

Jump Right In!

Hilarious! I'm always trying to get people to jump into a lake. Mike and Julia finally took me up on it (they're so brave). It was almost 50 degrees outside, so I was plenty warm as they jumped off of the dock! Way to go guys. I hope it was worth it and I hope you love your pictures. I know that I do! Special thanks to Kurtis for helping out on this shoot!

SilverStreet Nature Photography???

I almost got run over by a goose while shooting Mike and Julia's engagement photos. No kidding! Ask them, they'll tell you. Here's the goose, some eggs that may have belonged to him (they looked delicious), and a big yellow hawk that was just hangin around! I think I may have found my new calling. Anyone know the number to "Outdoor Photographer?"

Time Out!!!

Life is good! I'm sure this isn't the kind of thing that most guys think about growing up, I know I didn't, but I never dreamed that I would be so happy being a husband and a father. I have no idea how I ended up with the wife and daughter that I have, but I'm sure that I owe somebody big time for it.
Evidence: Every once in a while I try to send Mirabel to time out. Problem is that it doesn't work the way it's supposed to. As soon as I say "Time Out," she runs (I'm sure she'd be skipping if she could) to her room, grabs her time out chair, drags it out to wherever I am, and sits in it smiling until I crack up laughing or start kissing her. I know I'm not very good at this job, but hey, what's a guy to do?

Waterfalls in the Snow???

Sometimes I forget that we live in Utah and do something silly like play a hike up to a waterfall in early April. Needless to say, there was a lot of snow in our way and we never made it to the waterfall. Andy and Julie took it like champs and looked beautiful anyway. Then we went to a top secret (wink, wink) location and shot some amazing sunset canoing pictures. I hope you love them.

A Hint of Things to Come

Matthew: He's a Natural

Sometimes it's easy to take beautiful pictures and brag about talent, skill, and equipment, when the truth is that the subject is so beautiful that you're pretty sure no one could take a bad picture of them. Such was the case with Matthew. One look at his eyes and I knew this was going to be an easy shoot!
